The site comprises of two properties, The Casita and Casa Azul and is situated in a traditional Pueblo Blanco in the foothills of the Alpajurras. in the south east of the country. Lujar is a friendly, working village full of charm and steeped in history. There is just one road running through it and the houses lie within a network of pathways.  Mules and herds of goats are a daily sight within the village.

This rustic environment and year round hot weather lends itself to fabulous walks and outdoor activities. The area is popular with artists and renowned for bird watching and cycling.

The village has free sports facilities including a swimming pool.

Although it's a short drive to the shops, you can buy fresh bread, meat, fish etc from one of the vans that set up and sell to the villagers every day from the square. There is a late night kiosk selling ice cream, cigarettes and drinks and 2 bar restaurants.
